An end-to-end hardware and software solution based on the native Java stack is now available to customers.
A group of Russian developers including RED SOFT, BellSoft, Postgres Professional and EMDEV have confirmed correct joint operation of their software products. The successful tests allow recommending a joint use of a domestic Java stack - OS, DBMS, application server, Java runtime and a corporate portal - as an end-to-end solution on the Baikal-M processor.
The solution is based on the RED OS for the LiberCat application server and the Java runtime Liberica JDK Pro. This Java stack will be used for the finalization and deployment of the Incomand corporate portal. The Postgres Pro DBMS that is installed will facilitate the users' work. All software products are included into the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases. Technostek has been successfully tested with the domestic Baikal-M processor.
RED OS is a Russian Linux family operating system for servers and workstations, which provides a universal environment for the use of application software. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (No. 4060 of 12.01.2019), which confirms its compliance with information security requirements and allows its use in government information systems.
RED SOFT is the official manufacturer and copyright holder of the RED OS software product.
Progressive Java Liberica JDK Pro runtime environment is a single cross-platform solution based on OpenJDK for cloud, server and desktop systems, as well as Docker containers. The product is verified for compliance with the Java SE standard and supports an impressive range of software and hardware platforms, including Russian ones.
The standardized application server LiberCat, based on Apache TomCat and Apache TomCat EE, in conjunction with Liberica JDK Pro provides a comprehensive certified solution for both the Java SE and EE specifications, which guarantees the highest level of security and performance for customers.
BellSoft, one of the world leaders of OpenJDK, is the manufacturer and copyright holder of Liberica JDK Pro and LiberCat software products. Postgres Pro is a Russian DBMS developed on the basis of the free-distributed PostgreSQL database.
Postgres Pro Enterprise DBMS is specified in the State Register of the certified information protection tools of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control of the Russian Federation (FSTEC of Russia) with the certificate #4063 valid till January, 16, 2024.
Postgres Professional is the official manufacturer and copyright holder of the Postgres Pro software product.
Incomand is a corporate portal based on Liferay open-source project, which is a powerful, modern platform for creating internal corporate portals, uniting employees in work processes as well as social interaction.
EMDEV is the official developer and copyright holder of the corporate portal Incomand.
Rustam Rustamov, Deputy RED SOFT CEO: "Qualitative changes in government procedures and business processes are possible only through the implementation of modern digital technologies. And to strengthen in this case the digital sovereignty of the country, it is necessary to use predominantly domestic software and hardware. Working in this direction, together with our partners, we have created a solution that meets not only the requirements of our time, but also the import substitution policy. We thank our colleagues for the cooperation!
Alexander Belokrylov, BellSoft CEO: "Together with our partners we are building a reference architecture of IT-solutions based on the Java stack and continue to invest in ensuring compatibility with all the platforms in use. This allows customers to strive for technological independence, relying on progressive open source technologies and reliable 24/7/365 native support".
Ivan Panchenko, Deputy Postgres Professional CEO: "We appreciate the partnership with the manufacturers of Russian software, both system and application, because the cooperation of technological companies allows us to better satisfy the needs of users. That is why we carry out purposeful work on integration of domestic products within the framework of the "Domestic Soft" Association of Software Developers, and the new joint solution for the Incomand portal is one of the results".
Alexey Kakunin, EMDev CEO: "The Incomand corporate portal is just a small tip of the iceberg visible to the end users, which cannot exist without a huge "underwater" foundation. And it is very important that today we were able to ensure the entire foundation based on Russian components - from hardware to all the software required for the application (OS, database, application server, JVM runtime environment)".
