On May 16th Russian software developer RED SOFT will hold a webinar "Russian software for universities". Representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation are invited to participate. Information partner is RUSSOFT.
Representatives of RED SOFT, heads and lecturers of the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics, the Vladimir State University, Udmurtian State University and the South Russian State Polytechnic University will speak at the webinar. Speakers will discuss the switch to Russian software for higher education institutions and its implementation in the educational process.
RED SOFT has been cooperating with universities for many years seeking to implement the program of IT import substitution in Russia. The company licenses software products to educational institutions, offers internships to students, and invites them to take part in trainee programs. RED SOFT cooperates with more than 30 higher educational institutions in science and innovations development and is a partner of the Information Systems and Technologies Department of the MiVLGU.
"In a situation of an extreme shortage of IT personnel and a tough sanctions policy, it is necessary to restructure the training process, to include the study of Russian software, including domestic operating systems, DBMS, development tools, etc. I am sure that such events will help the developers and universities to hear each other and find a common solution in the transition of educational institutions to domestic software", commented Roman Simakov, director of development of system products of RED SOFT.
