Vinteo Desktop on RED OS is an import-independent VCS

Pursuing the development of technological cooperation, RED SOFT and Vinteo have tested their products and confirmed the compatibility and correctness of Vinteo Desktop videoconferencing solution (VCS) running under the RED OS operating system. The result is reflected in the bilateral certificate.

Vinteo Desktop is a video conferencing software client working with the Vinteo videoconferencing server. The software is compatible with Windows, Mac OS and Linux operating systems and allows high resolution video conferences (up to 1080p) on desktop and notebook computers. Vinteo Desktop supports DuoVideo mode, H.264 and VP8 video codecs, OPUS and G.711 audio codecs, and 5 language interface localization. The functionality of the software client allows making various types of calls (to the subscribers of a point-to-point VCNS server, to video conference rooms on the Vinteo video conferencing server), creating a local address book with import and export, registering subscribers on the server and making anonymous outgoing calls, chatting, sharing the desktop, etc.

RED OS is a Russian Linux family operating system for servers and workstations, that provides a universal environment for application software. The product is certified by the FSTEC of Russia (№4060 of 12.01.2019), that confirms its compliance with information security requirements and allows its use in government information systems. RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases of the Ministry of Communications of Russia (No.3751).
