Compatibility of JaCarta electronic keys with Red Database DBMS is confirmed

Aladdin R.D., a leading Russian developer and supplier of information security solutions, and RED SOFT, a Russian IT infrastructure solutions developer, announced the successful completion of tests on the compatibility of their products.

A compatibility certificate was signed, asserting that Aladdin's JaCarta USB tokens and smart cards work correctly together with RED SOFT's Red Database DBMS when using CryptoPro CSP versions 5.0 and higher.

Correct joint functioning was tested for USB tokens and smart cards: JaCarta PKI, JaCarta PRO, JaCarta-2 GOST, JaCarta-2 PKI/GOST, JaCarta-2 PRO/GOST, and also for USB tokens: JaCarta PKI/Flash; JaCarta LT using software "Integrated Client JaCarta" starting with version 2.13, and CryptoPro CSP 5.0.

Red Database DBMS is a modern Russian open-source DBMS. It is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases under No. 1. Red Database DBMS is certified by the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC) of Russia, which approves its usage in public information systems up to the first level of security inclusive, and in personal data information systems up to the first level of security for personal data inclusive.

JaCarta line of USB-tokens and smart cards is used to organize strong or strict authentication in information systems and services, provide legal validity of documents and users' actions with the help of electronic signature and secure storage of containers of software Cryptographic Information Protection Tools (SKZI), user data, certificates, passwords, etc. JaCarta family products have been certified by FSTEC of Russia to be compliant with the 4th level of protection against undeclared functionality, which allows using them in automated systems up to security class 1G inclusive, GIS - up to security class 1 inclusive and personal data information systems up to security class 1 inclusive.

Earlier it was announced that JaCarta is compatible with the operating system RED OS 7.3. The expansion of the pool of compatible products shows that Aladdin R.D. and RED SOFT are ready to form comprehensive tested solutions for import substitution in information technologies.
