The administration of Kursk region and Russian developer RED SOFT signed an agreement on cooperation in the sphere of digital development. The signatories were Oksana Krutko, deputy governor of the Kursk region, and Rustam Rustamov, Deputy RED SOFT CEO.
The signing ceremony took place on June 25 at the Kursk Korensk fair. The cooperation is aimed at implementing the program of import substitution in information technology and, consequently, the social and economic development of the Kursk region. To achieve the goals set, RED SOFT will assist in the transition to Russian software.
"RED SOFT has been active in the regions for many years. Our products are trusted in more than 50 subjects of the Russian Federation, including critical information infrastructure facilities. In Kursk region, for example, thanks to the team of professionals at the Multifunctional Center for Government and Municipal Services we successfully completed a project to switch to the RED OS operating system, achieving the necessary import substitution rates. We also cooperate with the regional universities. Within the framework of scientific and technical cooperation, together with Kursk State University and Southwestern State University, we popularize Russian high technologies in the academic environment. Now more than ever it is important to continue the course of strengthening the technological sovereignty of the country. The signing of a cooperation agreement with the administration of Kursk region will allow us to move confidently in this direction.
