September 10-11, the 4th Russian-wide Conference "Information Security and Import Substitution" will be held in Rostov-on-Don. The event will include an exposition of partner companies and an interactive demonstration of IT products and technologies.
RED SOFT will demonstrate on its booth the Russian import-independent operating system RED OS.
Besides that the program of the event includes a report by Ivan Ivlev, Deputy Director of the System Products Development Department of RED SOFT, named “RED OS. The operating system as the basis for protecting critical information infrastructure”.
RED OS is a multiuser, multitask general-purpose operating system for servers and workstations, which provides a universal environment for the applications. The product is certified by FSTEC of Russia (Cert. No. 4060, dated January 12, 2019), which confirms its compliance with the requirements of information security and allows its use for Government information systems and Personal Data systems up to 1 class inclusively. The RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian software and databases of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia (reg. No. 3751).
The Russian-wide conference “Information Security and Import Substitution” serves as a platform for introducing the latest trends in information security in government agencies of the Russian Federation and is designed to unite the country's regions in an effort to use advanced domestic technologies. The conference is supported by the Government of the Rostov Region, the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications of the Rostov Region, FSTEC of Russia in the Southern Federal District and North-Caucasian Federal District, Roskomnadzor and the Federal Security Service of Russia.
This year more than 450 participants, 35 top officials of the Russian regions, heads of government agencies from 30 regions, 20 media representatives are expected to participate.
