RED SOFT and Open virtualization technologies conducted compatibility tests for their products in the course of the partnership. The developers have confirmed full-scale and uninterrupted operation of the data storage system "OTV Aurora" (produced by "Open virtualization technologies") under the RED OS operating system (produced by RED SOFT). Earlier, the compatibility of RED OS and the "OTV ev3" hyper-converged infrastructure of was confirmed.
RED OS is a Russian Linux family operating system for servers and workstations, that provides a universal environment for application software. The product is certified by the FSTEC of Russia (№4060 of 12.01.2019), that confirms its compliance with information security requirements and allows its use in government information systems. RED OS is registered in the Unified Register of Russian Software and Databases of the Ministry of Communications of Russia (No.3751).
"OTV Aurora" DSS is a Russian transactional data storage system (DSS) created on the basis of proprietary developments without the use of open source components. The DSS architecture provides coordinated data storage, which minimizes the possibility of information loss due to various hardware failures. "OTV Aurora" data storage system has a high level of hardware portability and can be deployed on equipment built on almost any well-known architecture: x86 (x64) - Intel/AMD, E2K (Elbrus), POWER, OpenPOWER, ARM, MIPS, RISC. The product is registered with the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Cert. №2020618063).
